Blue Buffalo Pole Bean

Blue Buffalo is a stable cross of a pole lima and a runner bean. The blunt 3-4" pods hold four or five of these oval beans. Beautifully marked with swirls of dark blue on lavender, they taste as good as they look. Best for soups and baked dishes, they have a hearty flavor and texture. Vine reach 8 foot, so good support is required. Earlier than either parent, at less than 70 days.
