I try to release a new wild cross every season or two. This one is a cross out of LA1777, an S. habrochaites accension collected in Peru in the 70's and believed to be resistant to curly-top virus and my Ambrosia Orange, which carries the sucrose gene. The 3/4"fruit is surprisingly sweet and an unusual dusky orange color. Production is quite good on a sprawling, multi-branched vine. The variety should be stable, but I welcome any information on your experience with the cross. 70 days. 40 seeds per packet.
