Toothache Cress

Leaves and flowers have a surprising numbing effect which is a lot of fun, and, of course, has medicinal value as well. It gets maybe 4 inches tall and is easily grown in containers or as a houseplant. Rosettes of deep green are topped by bright yellow cones which are the flower heads and which last for months on the plant.
