Alaric (Tarbais)

Traditionally grown in the village of Tarbais at the footh of the Pyrenees, this large, flattened, white bean is produced on vigorous 6-7 foot vines. It's creamy texture and a thin skin make it a wonderful soup bean. The seed came from my friend Loretta, and I understand it still quite rare.
100 days to dry beans. 50 seeds per packet. Not available for international sales.
