Bulgarian Bush Bean

This big, beautiful bean surprised me with its earliness and productivity. It is a true bush bean, needing no support, though I did run some fence along the edge of the rows to contain the vigorous plants. Some of the leaves were the size of my hand! The variety is exceedingly rare.
