Christmas Lima Bean

Originally native to the high Andes of Peru, Christmas Lima Beans, this variety has been grown here since the 1840's. There is some variation in marking, from dark chestnut with white speckles to cream-colored with dark streaks. The fine texture and nutty flavor is superior to other lima beans. This is the one to get if you don't recall liking lima beans as a kid.
Late here - 100 days to dry beans. ( 40+ seeds per packet) --> not available outside the United States.
