Buttery texture and delicate flavor make these beans the foundation of Italian minestrone. The plump pods are streaked with reddish purple and each pod contains 5 or 6 large tan beans with cranberry markings. This is a very productive mid-season pole bean generally used as a dry bean. I received the seed in an annual exchange with a friend who loves these Italian beans. Unfortunately, there is no international shipping of bean seed.
60 seeds in a packet.
