Saraev Gruntovye

Another of P.Y. Saraev's selections, this is a compact determinate, regular leaf plant that produces round red fruits. Mine were uniform, about 4 ounces, and beautifully speckled. The amount of gold flecking depends on the growing conditions, I believe. Certainly, they had very good sweet flavor for an early tomato. They did take temperatures down to about 28 degrees F. early in the season, though the near the ground was probably warmer. 30-40 seeds per packet
