Blagovast

I understand this variety is from Central Asia, perhaps the Rus. I grew it out for the first time this season (2020). The compact semi-determinate vines set loads of flawless, round, red tomatoes about 2-3 oz. in weight. They taste tangy and somewhat sweet. I had so many, I dried much of the crop, which worked well, deepening and intensifying that flavor.
