The Aji Charipeta is a wonderful little pepper with a distinct flavor which has made it among the world's most sought-after spices. It is a native of the Peruvian jungle and the low sprawling plant produces hundreds of small round chiltepin-like peppers. It is around 50,000 Scoville - maybe a bit more.
