Weight in Gold

Weight in Gold is an edible cross of hirsutum and esculentum. I managed a dozen lines over a decade to arrive at this variety. You get the vigor of a cross species and remarkable production of slightly russeted and fuzzy, orange/red fruit with fine tomato flavor and high brix levels. The only drawback is the ripe fruit falls as in wild species, but you can stay on top of that. The foliage of the huge vines is unusual and the plant shows some frost tolerance. This line is at F6 now without any noticeable variation the last two seasons. Let me know if you see anything off-type.
