The Cowhorn pepper is a large, thick-walled pepper with mild to medium heat. The fine flavor and gentle spiciness make it a favorite with chefs here in Santa Fe. An abundant crop of 8 inch long tapered peppers will turn a brilliant red when mature. They are ready 75-85 days after planting out.
