Velarde

My neighbor, Rudy Frezquez, gave me seed for this chile. It is his wife's family chile, grown for many years in Velarde, an small community on the road to Taos known for its orchards and fruit stands.
the pods are a bit smaller than some other traditional varieties, but the flavor is great - and quite hot.
The packet contains 100 or more seeds.
