Pera D'Abruzzo (accordion pear tomato)

Ripening to a dark red in 70 days, the intricately pleated and folded fruit of Pera D'Abruzzo is something to behold. The flesh is meaty and thick and the interior has small empty spaces and few seeds. It makes beautiful slices. The flavor is rich and slightly salty. Some of the fruit is over 4 inches in diameter and there will be dozens ripening at a time on the big indeterminate plant. This is a tomato that will impress anyone. I'll send about 25-30 seeds.
