Cambuci Pepper

Cambuci peppers resemble dozens of little UFOs hanging on the plant. They are fun and easy to grow, reaching maturity in less than 90 days. The fruit is medium hot with a nice spicy/sweet flavor. I use them fresh at both the green and red stage to liven up stirfry and salads. At the end of the season I core and dry the entire pods for use during the winter. The pepper flakes are great in eggs or on pizza. Compared to the Chapeu de Frade, I'd say these are a bit milder. Chapeu plants are also much larger and the harvest is a bit later. Anyway, I'll send 40 or more seed by first class mail. Kids love to grow these and you will be the talk of the neighborhood.
