This fun popcorn is easily grown and very productive with a sweet and nutty flavor. A nutritious snack, popcorn has higher levels of antioxidant polyphenols than fruits and vegetables. The ears make handsome holiday decorations and one planting will keep your family in popcorn for a year. This is an rare native variety originally grown in the Cherokee Nation and the vigorous six foot stalks will set several ears each. Kernels are a vibrant range of colors, as or more beautiful, I think, than Glass Gem. (also with comparatively larger stalks and ears) The corn matures in 90-100 days.
