The kernels of this very sweet corn are a random assortment of pinks, purples, white and gold, often set in a shoepeg pattern. It was developed at the Alcalde experiment station some years ago. While not a supersweet corn, it keeps its wonderful flavor for quite some time, both on the stalk and in the refrigerator. It also has the old-fashioned texture and robust flavor missing in modern hybrids. The ears are blocky and average 7" long. This is a vigorous grower and will germinate in cooler soil. A packet contains 80+ seed
No international shipping - it's too darn expensive!
