Beans exactly like these have been found at the ancient sites of the Chaco culture. They are still grown by Pueblo people. My seed came from the Jesus Guzman of Nambe. The beauty and clarity of the color and markings on these red and white beans is astonishing. In the photo, they are in the upper left corner. Anasazi beans are used in soups, traditionally cooked with pork and green chile. A packet contains 60-70 seeds (about an ounce)
