A family heirloom, Sandul Moldovan was brought to the US by the Sandul family of Moldov, and introduced to SSE by Carolyn Male.
It is a very deep pink, flattened, somewhat irregular beefsteak tomato which can get quite large. Mine are 12 to 18 ounces this season. They are sweet and juicy and production is excellent. One Saturday I took eight ripe tomatoes off a single plant.
I'll send 30+ seeds by first class mail.
