Cal Red and Green

Cal Red and Green is a bicolor as you may have guessed. The markings are distinctive with the iridescent green stripes making quite a contrast with the underlying dark red skin. There are few tomatoes in the garden this striking. The variety is very productive as well and the dense flesh is juicy, wild and tangy - perfect for salads. The fruit averages about 2 1/2 inches and is borne in clusters of 3 or 4 on a 5 foot tree-type plant.
