Grightmire's Pride

Another big (12 oz.) heart-shaped tomato and a reliable producer, Grightmire's makes some of the best tomato sandwiches you can imagine. Apparently, a Canadian named Fred Grightmire found the variety in Yugoslavia and brought it home. It is meaty and the seeds are very few. The color is a very dark pink and the flavor is quite sweet. It takes about 80 days to mature. The indeterminate 5 foots plants are productive, but seed limited because it is difficult to collect any quantity. (40 seeds per packet)
