North Queen*

North Queen is a Central Asian commercial variety sent to me by another tomato grower. I grew it out the 2013 season and was impressed by its earliness and hardiness. The plant is compact, but the deep red beefsteak tomatoes are over 10 ounces and have fine flavor. The indeterminate plants continued to bear throughout the season beginning in about 70 days and only letting up a bit when it got really hot. In summary, North Queen is well adapted to northern climates and as good an early tomato as I have found. Very rare - essentially unknown. 30 seeds per packet.
