Black Roma

A 3 ounce,deep brown, egg-shaped tomato with firm, dry flesh, Black Roma is great in sauces which take on the rich color. The fruit keeps very well, but tends to drop easily from the vine. The indeterminate, regular-leaved vine reaches about 5 feet and by the end of the season is covered with hundreds of tomatoes. We like this one for market where its color and shape are a nice contrast. Ripe fruit in 65-70 days. A packet will contain 40+ seeds.
