Franklin Red Cowpea

Franklin Red is an old heirloom from Alabama. Large 8" dark red pods are borne in pairs on strong, semi-vining plants. They grow like crazy and will need some serious support. The production is outstanding and the mature pods rip easily to reveal dark brown peas. Fine flavor, 85 days. A packet contains over 1 oz of seed.
