Sugar Drop Cherry (trial)

We think we have the sweetest and finest yellow cherry on the market in Sugar Drop. Even the foliage is sweetly scented, a trait passed down from its wild ancestors and related to the remarkable sucrose sugar accumulation in the fruit. Each glistening apricot gold nugget is about 3/4 of an inch long with a little tip on the end. The 8 foot plants are so vigorous you will need to leave extra space and provide additional support. Expect to harvest ripe fruit in about 65 days. This variety sets very little seed and is often in short supply
