Oaxacan Green Dent Corn

The kernels of this corn are a true malachite color, each one an emerald. Traditionally used as a flour corn, it is almost too beautiful to grind. The flavor, however, is excellent and I have also simply dried it for chicos. The 6 foot plants produce 2 ears each in about 75-80 days from sowing.
