The Vigil family of Chimayo has passed this seed down for generations and in the narrow valley leading to the Sanctuario, planting this chile is a sacred tradition. Not as large as modern chile. but with a rich, spicy fire that will warm your belly, this wonderful pepper is adapted to higher elevations, but is tough enough to grow under any conditions.
Each packet contains more than 100 seeds. Seed is carefully packaged and shipped first class mail with instructions for starting and care.
