Farthest North was developed in North Dakota by crossing a red determinate tomato with a wild currant type. It is often claimed to be the '40 day tomato' and it comes close. I think I saw the first ripe one around 50 days from transplanting, The 3/4 inch slightly elongated fruit has a fine tangy flavor. The plants are small and slow down when it gets hot. I used shade cloth, though, and they bore all summer.
