Rosso Sicilian

Rosso Sicilian is an Italian heirloom with wonderful flavor. They are heavily pleated, with thin skins and rich red color. Generally this tomato would be used for sauces, but I found it worked well as a salad tomato.
The plants are compact and semi-determinate, tending to set their crop and ripen over a 6 weeks later in the summer. I received plants from a friend and also got some seed from a fellow collector. I'll grow both out this season to see if they are the same tomato.
