Sacred Traditions

Seed Sovereignty is the right of a farm, a family, or a traditional community of people to save, use, exchange or market that seed. Many varieties are being claimed as the 'property' of a limited number of large agricultural/seed corporations.

Saving local seeds that have existed in their communities for centuries is a natural right. The practice weaves a community together and celebrates the rich history and tradition of a people.
